Several London Warrior graduates are chasing their dreams by taking their football prowess across the Atlantic, continuing their development as they reach for the sky in an effort to reach their footballing goals.
DAVID DOONER accepted the offer of a full scholarship and has joined the Globe Institute of Technology in Brooklyn New York. The Kicker and hero of the 2008 semi finals against the Farnham knights, where he kicked the game winning field goal in overtime has converted all but one of his field goals including a 45 yarder for the Globe.
Defensive Lineman, MICHAEL ADESINA a three time National Youth Champion and 2008 Team MVP has been state side for over a year now. Firstly attending Trinity Valley Community College in Texas before transferring to Hudson Valley Community college in New York where he has moved to Linebacker and in the first team rotation Former wide receiver turned linebacker, DOMINIC FEVRIER-MCPHERSON a graduate from the Youth Program 2005 Youth National Champions and 2008 Division 2 Champions is also at Hudson Valley Community College.
Wide receiver & Defensive Back, JASON ALLEN who played for the 2007 and 2008 National Youth Championship campaign is at Nassau Community College in New York where he is continuing his development.
2008 BAFL youth Finals MVP, Quarterback DAYLE GREENFIELD was also offered a part scholarship but was unable to accept for personal reasons
Rookie youth Offensive Lineman, DAMILOLA MAKINDE was invited to a football camp at Morgantown High School home town of the West Virginia Mountaineers where he impressed not only the Morgantown coaches but the Head Coach of the Mountaineers.
Despite the London Warriors programs on the field successes, our main goals are to consistently produce good football players, with the best of them hopefully leaving our program and getting the opportunity to play at their highest level possible, wherever that maybe. US college, CFL, NFL wherever.
We as an organisation believe if we are able to achieve this, we will remain competitive....
