The London Warriors were crowned champions at the tournament march madness held in East London eariler today. in thier first ever flag tournament, Normally used to playing kitted football the Premier side outfit decided to take on the challenge of flag football. The first game the Warriors played the first half with only 4 plays but still came out on top 27-6 against The Victoria Cougars.




In the second game the London Warriors defeated the hosts the London Rebels 37-19, the Warriors ended up as group winners beating The Basingstoke Zombie Horde 33-20 which set up a semi final clash with last years Champions the Chichester Sharks. The Warrior defeated the Sharks in fashion with a score of 32-6 pitting them against the only other undefeated side in the Tournament The Chelsea Bass.This was a hard fought game with both teams making great plays in the first half. In the second half the Warriors pulled out a lead and never looked back, the game ended Warriors 41 Chelsea Bass 15. The MVP for the finals was running back Jermaine Birche for his blazing runs and ankle breaking moves, but the London Warriors Tournament MVP voted by his peers was Ben Loprimo, who caught touch downs as well as retuned interceptions for Touchdowns.
