JUNIOR FLAG The London Warriors Junior flag team came into the tournament ranked 4th in the country. After a close fought first game the warriors just came out on the loosing end of the score against the Sussex Thunders 21 - 12. The game for 3rd/4th place was a spirited fight but with the Warriors low on numbers fatigue started to set in and the gap in the score started to widen. The Warriors never game up and fought all the way to the final whistle loosing to the Leicester Eagles 53 -12. Leaving the London Warriors 4th place overall. After a disappointing championship tournament, London Warrior Lewis Popely showed his true calibre by taking the tournament MVP. |
